The BMW Turbo Concept Car, a predecessor to the BMW M Series, debuts in Asia!
Designed by Paul Bracq to celebrate the 1972 Munich Olympics, this BMW Turbo Concept made headlines with its avant-garde wedge-shaped body design, foldaway headlights and gullwing door. With a body height of only 1100mm, the sensation of flying on the ground that it offered attracted a lot of attention. It was an extremely bold and innovative design at that time. Unfortunately, it was the year of the global oil crisis and the BMW Turbo Concept ended production with only two extremely rare prototypes remaining.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of BMW Hong Kong, the BMW Turbo Concept Car has been specially flown out to Hong Kong from Germany. Register now for the chance to get a close-up view of this classic concept car.

Launched in 1971, this classic BMW features signature BMW design elements such as the long front, short front overhang, and extended wheelbase. It is equipped with a Bosch D-Jetronic electronic fuel injection system and offers 200 horsepower. It is the predecessor to today’s BMW 6 Series.
Manufactured in 1985 as a German touring car and based on the E30 three-series 2-door coupé, several extended models were introduced. The BMW M3 series was born for thrills. Making its entrance in the Macau Grand Prix in the 80s, the M3 went on to become an undefeated champion, winning top three titles for four years.
Based on the E31 chassis in 1986, the 840Ci debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1989. In 1991, it was designed to move beyond the market of the original 6 Series at that time, but was discontinued in 1997. It was BMW's flagship model.
Produced in 1995, the compact but classic shark’s head design of the BMW Z3 perfectly displays the essence of the BMW Roadster. Although the BMW Z3 was discontinued in 2002, it paved the way for the production of the BMW Z4.
Symbolizing the future of driving, the latest model in the 2018 BMW i series is BMW's first open-top, two-seater convertible with a plug-in hybrid engine.
